This is a rabies-controlled route. Some destinations add a blood titer and a waiting period, which is the single biggest driver of how early to start.

The documents, step by step

   Microchip

   The microchip goes in first so the rabies record can be matched to it. Order matters for the Emirates.

   Rabies vaccination

   After the rabies shot there is a 21-day wait. We will line the dates up so nothing is left to chance.

   Import permit

   The MOCCAE permit is your green light to enter. We will flag when it is time to apply.

   Health certificate

   A recent vet certificate confirms your pet is travel-ready for the flight.

   USDA endorsement
